After our older kids went all the way through public school, we’re doing things a little differently this time around.

Today was their first day of Pre-K and our very first day of homeschooling.

They say you only get 18 summers, but we’re older parents this go-around… we need all the time we can get. So maybe we’ll just hold onto as much of these 18 years as we can.

Here’s to slowing down a little, learning together, and soaking up this season while we have it.

I went back and forth for a LONG time trying to decide if the Skylight Calendar was worth it. Spoiler: 100% it is, and I regret not getting it sooner.

It’s definitely keeping our family organized, but the unexpected bonus? Apparently the “Up for Grabs” list activated some competitive part of my husband’s brain that makes him want to check off as many tasks as possible.

This is him at 6 AM on his way out to work, making sure he gets credit for his.

He thinks he’s winning. I’m watching my to-do list get shorter.

We’re both happy. 10/10 purchase.
