☀️ With temperatures reaching 118°, the safety of our animals always comes first. 🐮🤎

We know many of you look forward to your sessions, and we truly appreciate your excitement. Please understand that I will never put our animals—or our guests—at risk for the sake of a photoshoot or appointment.

Extreme heat can become dangerous very quickly, not only for the animals but for the people working and participating as well. If conditions become unsafe, sessions may need to be delayed, rescheduled, or adjusted.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and trust. Every decision I make is based on the health and safety of everyone involved.

Two months ago, I gave our Jr. Farm Hands a challenge: take an area of the farm and make it better.

Today, they officially completed their project before our Sr. Farm Hands even got started.

Their goal was simple:
🤎 Create more shade for our cows.
🫏 Give the donkeys a dedicated space during Farm Days.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Open up more room so our guests have an even better experience.

Watching these kids plan, problem-solve, work together, and bring their ideas to life has been one of the most rewarding parts of this program. They didn’t just complete a project—they left the farm better than they found it.

I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished over the last two months.

Now comes the fun part… it’s time for them to start brainstorming their fall project. They get to present their ideas, and I can’t wait to see what they dream up next.

These kids continue to prove that hard work, teamwork, and a little creativity can make a big difference. 🤎
