Butch in a boat! Butch would make such an awesome pet for a newly retired couple, or even a lazy crazy like me! He doesn’t require a lot of activity, just love! There must be SOMEONE out there that will give him a home to live out the last days of his life. He hasn’t been great with cats, dogs or kids, but perfect for someone out there!

I’m going to bat for this dog again. He has been at the shelter for over 5 YEARS. YEARS guys. I’m not sure why a rescue hasn’t stepped forward. Or a patient adopter for that matter? Look at him! He’s so handsome! They say he isn’t good with other dogs and cats, but I would say to at least evaluate this opinion outside of a facility that he’s been living in for over 1,800 days. Something tells me he’s become a little protective of his home. He’s an old guy. Please help me get him out. Call Randolph County Humane Society at 304-636-7844 for more information or to give this ole buddy a great home for the last days of his life. He’s said to be 10 years old. Been in a kennel for more than 1/2 his life. I have an immense respect for those in animal rescue. I don’t know how you do it. 💔Thank you all so much.
