Praying for all those who have been impacted by the flooding! Our church, Immanuel Chapel Church, has opened their doors and are accepting donations if you are able! ππ»
UPDATE: All of the families who came to the church tonight have now been able to make safe sleeping arrangements with family, friends, or elsewhere. Since everyone who was with us has found a place to stay for the evening, our volunteer has gone home and the church is no longer staffed or open overnight.
We are incredibly thankful that we were able to provide a safe place during the storm, and our desire to help our community has not changed. We will continue doing everything we can to assist families in the days ahead. Please continue to pray for everyone affected and for the first responders still working throughout our community.
The doors of Immanuel Chapel Church are open for any individuals or families who have been displaced or need a safe place to stay. If you or someone you know needs shelter, please don't hesitate to come.
If you are in the area and are able to help, we are also asking for donations of essential supplies for families in need.
Items such as bottled water, non-perishable food, toiletries, baby supplies, blankets, pillows, clothing, cleaning supplies, and other necessities would be greatly appreciated.
If you are able to volunteer your time or lend a helping hand in any way, your support would mean so much during this difficult time.
