Sold both of these today. She told me she made a monarch butterfly for her grandmother when she was a kid. Her grandmother hung it on her wall for her entire life & she has it now. She bought these because they remind her of her grandmother ❤️

Do otters know how cute they are?

I'm pretty sure this one was looking to make sure I was paying attention. Someone stopped at my booth & asked if I had pictures of Otters. I have a couple, but I went out to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge to see if I could get a few more. I found this adorable young one out swimming and nibbling on a little bit of everything.

Butterflies drawn to pine trees???

Haven't seen this before, but they kept flying back to this same pine tree. Had to look up what they were, Common Wood-Nymph butterflies. They do, in fact, feed on tree sap in addition to nectar. Also, took me a little longer to identify them, because only the ones near the coast have the bright yellow patch, the inland ones are more plain looking. Humans near the coast tend to wear brighter colors too. Now we get to argue about who started the trend, butterflies or humans??? 😆
