With 35 years experience in television news, Brent has developed the technical and creative skills to craft a video that can show the uniqueness of your business to the world. After graduating from San Jose State University, he worked as a producer and news director at several top stations around the country in places like Portland, New Orleans and Denver. In Sacramento, Brent created the highly successful morning show Good Day Sacramento. Good Day frequently showcases new and existing businesses to viewers, and Old Strand uses some of those same techniques to help sell your business and craft interesting historical documentaries. Dave is a multiple Emmy Award winning broadcast journalist, blogger, author, and voice talent. His experience in story-telling lends itself well to the collaborative documentary style of journalism he’s found with Brent Baader – a long time broadcast associate and friend. Dave’s humble beginnings on an Illinois farm eventually led to his 7-yr college coming-of-age at the rather huge campus of the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. From there it was on to radio, and television stations around the country. Las Vegas ABC, NBC, and CBS stations established his legacy in news anchoring in that growing city…and decades of weekly “Wednesday’s Child” stories fulfilled his heart for the plight of disadvantaged foster children.
