A beautiful new chapter for Lydia and Bobby AND for one of Rochester’s wedding venues! 🤍

Lydia and Bobby were married on August 8th with a traditional Catholic ceremony at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church followed by a reception with 130 of their family and friends at the newly relocated and renovated Arbor Loft in Rochester, NY.

This was my first opportunity to film at the new Arbor Loft, and there is so much to love about this space!

One of my favorite features is something couples might not immediately think about when touring wedding venues: the getting ready spaces.

Both Lydia and Bobby were able to get ready onsite, and Lydia’s suite was bright, spacious, and filled with beautiful natural light. There were so many different backdrops available before we ever left the room. As a wedding videographer, these details make SUCH a difference in how the beginning of a wedding film looks and feels.

After the ceremony, we were able to capture portraits inside Arbor Loft, against the beautiful white draperies, near the bar, and outside using the surrounding East End and downtown Rochester setting.

One venue. So many completely different looks.

What happens when two lifelong athletes find their perfect teammate? 🤍

Annie and Brandan’s August wedding was filled with so many personal details that I knew their story deserved its own place on the blog.

Annie started the day at her parents’ home surrounded by family, including a group of cousins she asked to wear blue so that THEY could be her “something blue.”

She and Brandan chose to skip a first look, which meant the first time he saw his bride was as she walked down the aisle with her dad at St. Margaret Mary Church.

And then there was Genesee Valley Club.

This wasn’t just a beautiful Rochester wedding venue for Annie. She grew up going there with her family, including father daughter dances. Years later, she returned in her wedding dress to celebrate one of the biggest days of her life in a place already filled with memories.

And as for Brandan?

His brother described meeting Annie through Hinge as the “greatest bet” this sports loving CPA ever made. Considering his track record with 15 leg parlays, I think everyone agreed this one worked out considerably better. 😂

Nearly 180 guests, beautiful portraits on the terrace lawn, hilarious and emotional speeches, live music, and a dance floor ready for a party made this such a memorable day to film.

But my favorite parts are the ones that tell you who Annie and Brandan actually are.

Two best friends.

Two teammates.

And two people whose families couldn't be happier that they found one another.

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the setting. Others stay with you because of the people.

Emily and Kendall’s wedding had both. 🤍

From finishing touches and their first look at Irondequoit Country Club, to heartfelt vows at Linehan Chapel, hilarious speeches from the people who know them best, and one of my favorite golden hour sessions on the golf course, this Rochester wedding was an absolute joy to capture.

Their story started years ago as college neighbors at UMass Amherst, with a strange noise coming from Emily’s car and Kendall coming over to “help” despite apparently not being much of an auto mechanic. 😂

Years later, they stood in front of their family and friends and promised to be teammates through all of life’s twists and turns.

Their wedding film gets to preserve not only what June 27th, 2026 looked like, but what it sounded and felt like too.

Congratulations, Emily and Kendall! 🤍

Annie & Brandan 08.01.2026

Take notes from this bridal party: your bridesmaids and groomsmen are meant to be your biggest cheerleaders and hype squad. The amount of love and positivity and support I felt in the presence of this bridal party spoke volumes about the kind of people Annie and Brandan surround themselves with.

Normally we all just try to get through the bridal party portraits to run back to AC, but this was honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole day.
