I looked at my calendar and saw that National Dog Day was coming up, and it made me feel sad. Even though it's been a few years since we said goodbye, some days it just hits me. I miss having a dog. I miss MY dog.
Lily was such a big part of my life and my photography. She inspired me in so many ways. She was my little shadow, my constant companion, and she was there for me every single day.
I would look down - there's Lily.
I would turn around - there's Lily.
I would open the bathroom door...there's Lily.
So today, on National Dog Day, give your earth-side dog a big hug for me ♡
