A traditional Lebanese wedding to celebrate Dominic + Mary.

From the moment the drums started echoing to the nonstop celebration that carried all the way into the night, this traditional Lebanese wedding felt like stepping into a film, FOR REAL. The energy was electric, emotional, loud in the best way, and overflowing with love that was palpable. Every moment meant something. Every person showed up with their whole heart. No truly, everyone was smiling, crying or both all day.

Mary knew from the start that it was me and ML Studios that she wanted there to document their day, and that kind of trust and love before, during, and after a wedding is something I’ll never take lightly. It’s the reason we do this. To preserve people, culture, emotion, legacy, family, movement, energy… all of it. Mary… I love ya, girl!

I swear I would photograph this wedding over and over again if I could and not change a thing. Dominic & Mary, thank you for loving us the way you did and for allowing us into something so deeply special. What a gift it was to witness your people celebrate you both!!! 🥁✨

Some family sessions leave you inspired creatively. Some leave you emotionally cracked open in the best way… This one did both for me.

Being invited into a family’s home is something I will never take lightly. There’s no performance here. No pressure to be perfect. Just real life unfolding in front of me. Bare, dirty feet in the grass, little hands on windowsills, dancing in the backyard… I literally showed up and we treated this golden hour night with The Rothfuss Fam like any other night they’d spend together. These kind of moments we shared that feel ordinary while they’re happening, but become everything later on.

Each one of these extraordinary little humans carried such a wildly different spirit. SO MUCH personality. I left this session feeling like Aunt Lexi, so inspired by the way they love each other and the way their home feels lived in with intention. Present. Safe. Free.

This is exactly where I want my family work to stay; not overly posed. Not manufactured. Sure, some of my guidance but… not chasing perfection. Just truth. Storytelling. Connection. The tiny inbetween moments that say more than anything else ever could. I think that’s why I care so deeply about photography in the first place. My attention to detail has never been about things looking “perfect.” It’s about noticing what’s real before it disappears. So yeah— less about attention to detail, and more about attention to truth.

Still thinking about Asia & Rob’s day. 🤍

Coming up on one year already on 7.11 and it feels like yesterday we were all at Arbor at the Port. An overpowering amount of love surrounded these two. I feel so lucky I got to be there. Their kind of day reminds me why I care so deeply about what I do.

Kailee Stephenson & Brendan, I’ll never stop being grateful you brought us together!!! From one bride to the next. 🥹

And to their girls, Lydia & Phoebe… truly the sweetest little souls. They made the whole day feel even softer & even more meaningful.

Asia & Rob, you two just fit. There’s something so real and grounded about your love. I am wishing you two the most beautiful first anniversary as the Moores… because there really is always MORE love to give 🤍

PART II of Sam + Bilal’s NYC Engagement Session🍸🍒🍕

My trip to New York City was one for the books as I spent the afternoon hanging out with these lovely people. Coming to your home base is important to me when it comes to capturing the true essence of who you guys are for your engagement photos. We got to know each other, we drank , we ate pizza (really fricken GOOD pizza) and they showed me around the beautiful upper west side of NYC. I can’t wait to capture their big day one month from now. ✨

These are only just a few of my favorites because again, 20 slides can never be enough!!! Love this day so much with an incredible couple I fell in love with instantly. Connecting with all their family + friends was simply a bonus. I even get to document a couple of their friends’ day this year and next and for me, that’s the best compliment in the world. Me and Mike LOVE THE STERLING! We are so happy to be back again together this year. 📸🎥
