It’s officially the start of the "Ber" months, which means sweater and flannel weather, pumpkin spice everything, and crisp autumn leaves are right around the corner!

Fall has always been my favorite time of year, and I’m so ready to get out and capture some great fall colors this year. Sharing a few of my favorite photos from past autumns to kick off the season.

Following my time at Highmark Stadium the other night, I made a late-night detour to KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo. My main target was the French Connection statue located in Alumni Plaza, and the dramatic night lighting really brought these bronze figures to life.

Unveiled in 2012, this statue pays tribute to the legendary 1970s Sabres forward line: center Gilbert Perreault, left wing Rick Martin, and right wing René Robert. Known collectively as "The French Connection," the French-Canadian trio thrilled fans for nearly a decade, leading Buffalo to its first Stanley Cup appearance in 1975 and establishing one of the most prolific offensive lines in NHL history.

With the season opener just two weeks away, I had to head out to Abbott Road last night to see the new Highmark Stadium in person. I snapped some photos of the exterior, and I was seriously impressed by how great the surrounding grounds look. It was awesome seeing so many members of Bills Mafia out on the new walking trail, all doing the exact same thing—stopping to take in the impressive new house.

Happy World Photography Day!

Landscape photography is more than just taking a picture of a pretty view—it's about patience, early morning alarms, chasing dynamic light, and standing completely still while nature puts on a show. From freezing temperatures at dawn to catching the final golden glow over a waterfall, every frame represents a unique moment in time that can never be replicated. Happy National Sunflower Day!!! There’s something about a field of bright, golden sunflowers that instantly lifts the mood. I have had the chance to spend some time capturing these beautiful blooms, and they definitely lived up to the hype!

In-person events like these are my absolute favorite way to showcase my photography. There’s nothing quite like seeing the work up close, reconnecting with old friends, and meeting new faces in the communities I visit. I always love chatting with you about the stories behind the images!
