đŸ‘€Today spotted five manatees in the Tarpon Springs Boyou Crystal Lake.

There was a smaller manatee calf around too.

We watched them for about a half hour as they were swimming and playing close by for a while.

I always love seeing dolphins and manatees while in Florida!!!

While in Florida, you see a lot of Snowy Egrets around the coast.

A couple Manatees were swimming in the gulf by the beaches along Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key.

They are found in warm waters along the coast in the Gulf, Rivers, Springs and Bayous.

You will also hear people calling them, "Sea Cows."

They can get up to 13 feet long and weigh 3500 pounds.

They eat seagrass. 100-200 pounds daily

They can't survive in waters below 60 degrees

Did you know that manatees are related to the elephant group.
-they have toe nails on their flippers
