📸 What to Wear for Portraits: Look & Feel Your Best! 👗👔

Planning a portrait session? What you wear can make a huge difference! Here are some quick tips to help you and your family shine in front of the camera:

✨ Keep it Simple – Solid colors and classic styles photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns and logos that distract from your face. We want you and your family to be the center of attention, not the loud shirt :)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Coordinate, Don’t Match – For family or group portraits, go for a cohesive color palette instead of identical outfits. Think earth tones, soft neutrals, or jewel tones that complement each other.

👟 Dress from Head to Toe – Yes, your shoes matter! Make sure your footwear fits the vibe of your outfit. Don't forget that phones don't look good in back pockets, and you may want to remove your smartwatch too.

💄 Natural & Polished – Hair and makeup should reflect your style but look slightly elevated. Matte makeup works better than shiny for camera lights. Less shine is always better. It is hard to edit out.

🧥 Layer It Up – Layers like jackets, scarves, or cardigans add texture and interest to your look. But be sure to be comfortable. Layers are great for in studio shoots, but be cautious for those summer photos. Summer is already here!

Bonus Tip: Try on your outfit (or outfits) a few days before your shoot to make sure it fits well and makes you feel confident. Confidence is the best accessory! 💃🕺
