Dear Guy in the Purple Hoodie,

Thank you for being you.

In a world full of what it’s full of, you have proven that kindness still exists.

Backstory:

I was videoing the Dallas Pulse game and this guy in the purple hoodie, who I don’t know, mentioned close by that he had two seats in the lower section that he wasn’t going to use and that he was going to try to find two people to sit in them. Now mind you, he could’ve just left them empty, but chose not to. Unknowingly to him, I recorded the entire thing. He walked up, found a father and son who were sitting a bit further up and offered up his seats down lower. I’m not really sure why I chose to record this entire interaction, but it was kind of a “Nudge” that told me I needed to do it. I don’t know this guy in the Purple Hoodie or the Man and his son. I just thought it was a nice gesture and thought it could be shared!

I caught up with the Purple Hoodie guy later and told him I recorded that entire thing and asked him why he did it and he said, “It’s all about the kids!” And I think from the look of the kids face at the end, he probably enjoyed it a lot!
