September always makes me think about how quickly our little ones grow. One minute they’re tiny enough to fit perfectly in our arms, and the next they’re running around, growing into their own little personalities, and somehow getting bigger right before our eyes.

That’s one of my favorite things about family photography. Not just the pretty pictures, but having something to look back on and remember exactly who they were in this season.

The little hands. The big personalities. The messy hair. The belly laughs. All the little things we never want to forget. 🤍

So if your little ones have been growing a little too quickly lately, maybe this is your gentle reminder to pause and document them exactly as they are right now.

Sometimes it’s the little moments that stay with you. 🤍

This sweet girl had the BEST personality, and I had so much fun getting to know her and her beautiful family during their session in Luray.

And this little moment? Just her, her tiny Anna doll, and a little piece of her world. 🥹

These are the moments I love capturing. The ones that may seem small now, but one day will bring you right back to who they were at this age.

Your wedding day is made up of more than the big moments.

It’s the way they look at you when no one is watching. The laugh you didn’t expect. The hand squeeze. The happy tears. The people surrounding you. The tiny moments that somehow become the memories you hold onto the longest.

That’s what I love about photographing intimate weddings. I get to slow down and document all of it as it naturally unfolds.

This beautiful Northern Virginia wedding was full of so much love, and I’m so grateful I got to preserve these memories for them.

NEWBORN MODEL CALL

I’m looking for a sweet baby between 1–8 weeks old to join me for a creative newborn shoot as I begin building my newborn portfolio in my new in-home studio!

The session will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and will take place at my home studio. Mom and Dad are welcome to participate.

This is a complimentary session and includes 10 fully edited digital images. If you fall in love with more than the included 10, additional images are available for $5 each.

In exchange for the complimentary session, you must be comfortable with the final images being shared on my website and social media for portfolio and promotional purposes.
