Since this ruling, I have been contemplating on the best way to approach the situation with regards to my business. Posting and sharing images is crucial to those of us in this industry. It is how we find clients, and how clients can assess our style and quality of work.

However, in this case I have an option to still showcase my work, preserve the emotion and aesthetic quality of my style, and still shield it from this type of AI usage. As always, clients have the option to keep their images completely offline and out of my portfolio. I hope that this adjustment will allow for enough comfort in continuing to show my work. Safety of my young clients is extremely important to me, and I felt it was prudent to make this adjustment.

Model calls are exempt from this policy, as they are curated specifically for promotional use, however I will be changing my approach to these as well.

Each year, I provide options for school photos for those who want an alternative to their school's offering, or who may homeschool and need a photo option. All packages are for digital photos that you can print where you like. As always, you have access to my professional lab if you like!

Hadn't posted in a bit--was too busy delivering some more gorgeous galleries from the last flower farm minis at Glory Flower Farm. While minis are focused more on connection-based posed photos due to time constraints, I still look for candid moments like this in the in-between. If your style is to just capture your families moments as they naturally occur, I encourage you to consider a full session where we have the time to settle in and find those moments together.
