It has been a wild, incredibly busy summer so far. I actually just got back from a beautiful week off in the Adirondacks, and I am regretfully a little behind on sharing some major milestones here.
So let’s backtrack to last June at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge

A slightly belated happy one-year anniversary to this amazing couple! Looking back at these photos makes me want to relive this entire day all over again. Lake Bomoseen always delivers the best lakeside views, and celebrating with these two was easily a highlight of my summer last year.
Hope you two had the best time celebrating your first year of marriage!

Happy one-year anniversary to my close friends, Kat and Chris!

It is wild to think about how much change can happen in just a single year. I had the absolute best time photographing their wedding weekend, and then earlier this year I got to capture them all over again with their beautiful new baby girl.

Throwing it back to this Lake Willoughby elopement.

We started up at Sentinel Rock for those massive views overlooking the gap before heading down right next to the water to finish up. What you absolutely cannot tell from these photos is that the bugs were out for blood. We were honestly getting eaten alive the entire time, but these two were total troopers and didn’t let it ruin the vibe for a second.

Always worth it for a Lake Willoughby session, even with the bugs!

That brief pause right after the grand entrance where everything finally settles.

First dances look completely different for every couple. Some are quiet, emotional pauses where the rest of the room fades away, while others set a high-energy tone for the rest of the night. It is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day to document.

Last weekend back at the Hotel Saranac for the most perfect June summer day in the Adirondacks.

They got ready at the hotel before we headed out to the Bog River Flow near Tupper Lake for a completely private, incredibly special ceremony. Afterward, we drove back to the hotel for their formal ceremony and reception with family and friends. It was easily the most intimate, laid-back day I’ve shot all year, wrapped up with those stunning rooftop views over the mountains.
