Bryce Canyon had record snowfall this winter, with over 48 inches of snow when we visited the park, with 60”+ snowdrifts in some parts. Seeing the towering hoodoos blanketed in snow was one of the motivating factors for planning our trip during winter, and experiencing this awe-inspiring place under a blanket of snow was nothing short of magical.
Pictured here are the switchbacks on Bryce Canyon’s most popular trail, the Navajo Trail - beautiful and deceivingly easy hiking down, but a whole other experience hiking back up 😅🥵
