I don't capture families very often, but when I do you best believe we spend maybe 5 minutes max smiling for the camera. The rest of that time we embrace what it feels like to be a kid. Playful, silly, a little chaotic. And boy do those images speak for themselves.

Our Engagement Photos - Part 1!

I'm so beyond grateful for Last Light Studio making the trip to St Albans and being down for a whirlwind tour of our favorite places for our engagement photos! Sara and Olivia's elopement was the stuff of woodland dreams. They intentionally chose a day for just the two of them (with a shrine for their cats) with thoughtful details to make it an experience they were fully immersed in. It truly felt like walking through the wardrobe to Narnia.

On a beautiful July night on Caspian Lake, David surprised Tracy with a vow renewal on the beach to celebrate 35 years together. They were surrounded by their best friends who met over the nearly 30 years they've been coming to Highland Lodge. They celebrated with an al fresco dinner as the sun set, followed by the most gorgeous pink moonrise over the lake. The loons participated in the speeches given and the night could not have been more magical ✨

I just finished Shannon & Reilly's full wedding gallery this week and boy am I already nostalgic for it. These two had the most fun, sweet, and intentional day together with their closest friends and family. They hired the local trolley to ferry them from getting ready at Hotel Vermont to their sun drenched ceremony on the rocks at Oakledge, and finally celebrating at May Day with their amazing food. They danced the night away to music by Bob Wagner and all the while these two were never far apart from each other. I love seeing a couple as obsessed with each other as these two are.

This wedding was a dream in the best way - it was a wedding where everyone there, including me, gets to be fully present. It makes looking at the photos bring you right back to how amazing the day felt. Thanks for having me along for the ride ❤️

I just finished Shannon & Reilly's full wedding gallery this week and boy am I already nostalgic for it. It was a blistering hot July day when I met up with Stephanie and Ryan for their engagement shoot at Shelburne Farms, but embracing the heat as the sun set over the lake was the exact recipe we needed to create these magical images together. It didn't hurt one bit that these two are silly, sweet, and absolutely nailed the frolicking prompt I suggested. I cannot wait for more of this at their wedding next year ❤️
