I hope everyone is having a good start to June! I am thankful to finally have a bit of time to sit down and sift through some of the photos I have taken over the last couple months and can't wait to share them soon! Here's a look at what's ahead:

I have been working on editing photos of the fantastically funky Cincinnati band Crystalline Machine from a wee photos session we had back in April, before I took my trip out West! These photos will be released soon so keep an eye out for those. They will be sent to the band first so follow their page to be sure to see them!

I have fully culled all of the photos from my 20+ day trip to Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Colorado, and Utah! Those will be edited soon and I have some that I am soooo eager to share but just haven't been able to get around to editing yet because I have been BUSY!

Shortly after I returned from my trip out West, I went to the Red River Gorge to camp for 3 days because apparently I didn't get enough camping in (like 12 nights) when I went out West so I have photos from that too! Most of those are gonna be photos of weathered and eroded rock formations, some of which are very enticing! These will be rolling out sometime after I get a batch of my big trip photos done.

I will be photographing Harold The Band for their album release show tomorrow at The Acres in Cincinnati! This will be such a fun event at a place that has sooo many fun activities for the whole family so come on out and enjoy the show! I have it on high authority that music starts at 7:30 PM!

And don't worry... I haven't forgotten about my Boone County Big Year project! I know I missed out on a lot of bird species while I was travelling, but no worries there. You can only get what you can get. I'm not going to pause exciting things in my life just to catch some birds that will be back through next year, no matter how much I do enjoy seeing them. Going on trips, catching live music, and spending time with friends is what matters most in my life and are the things that truly make life worth living. Like the birds, I gotta do some migrating of my own in this life and that's just how its gotta be.

Sitting by a fire in Illinois reflecting on my last 3 weeks. From Burlington, KY to Moab, UT and back taking incredible photos along the way. I'm so lucky to have been able to experience this and am already looking forward to my next excursion! I captured some incredible photos and I am eager to share them with you as soon as I can. I even have a plan for a selection of them to be offered as a limited edition print with a contribution from each order going towards a charity that protects our wild lands. Keep your eyes on my profile for more in the next few weeks!

This is the last night of my photo trip and I'm spending time reflecting upon the journey while sitting by a wonderful fire on a beautiful night in what just might be the only state park in Illinois that isn't getting rained on. I was able to capture some incredible photos of special moments and compose some landscapes that I am extremely proud of. I have big plans for a few of the photos from this trip and can't wait to share those and many more with you in due time.

Photos from day 3 of Resonate Suwannee are here! Help me tag it up! I will have some fun art edits that I will share later but this is my final round of general photos from my time at Resonate this year! I had an absolute blast photographing this wonderful festival at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park!

No new species for yesterday's walk... I think it was a bit too chilly so bird activity was down. Not all is lost, however, as I was able to get another shot of an Indigo Bunting, a Gray Squirrel, and some American Robins ripping up a butterfly!
