Everything old is new again. Bubble sendoffs were a wedding staple long before sparkler exits took over, and now they're back, and for good reason.

They give you such a cool look when paired with flash, the same sense of celebration as your guests send you off, but without the burn holes in dresses and suits, without the wind carrying sparks somewhere you didn't plan for, and without someone in the crowd holding theirs a little too close.

They're also easier on your guests. No lighting one sparkler off another down a long line, no waiting for everyone to get theirs going at once. Just turn on the machine and let it run.

Some trends fade because something better replaces them. This one's just cycling back around.

Thrilled to share that "Light Through the Pines" was featured in Off Town Magazine. This Pinehill Pavilion wedding was full of golden hour light, string lights, and a dance floor wrapped in fog, and it was such a joy to capture.

There is something special about being trusted with a secret this big. When Rabby reached out about capturing his proposal to Tanya, I said yes without hesitation. Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of wedding coverage, a chance to get to know a couple before their big day. But documenting the actual proposal, the real unscripted moment when everything changes, is a different kind of magic entirely.

Rabby's plan started simple: a walk through the park, just the two of them. Tanya had no idea what was coming. As they made their way under a flower covered pergola, Rabby got down on one knee, and in an instant her whole face changed. That mix of surprise and joy is something you cannot direct or fake, and it is exactly why moments like this are worth capturing.

From there, the celebration moved to Tanya's parents' house, where friends and family were waiting under a tent strung with laughter and cheers. There was applause, tears, hugs passed from person to person, and Tanya showing off her ring to everyone. It was clear how loved this couple is, and how many people had been waiting right alongside Rabby for this day to come.

I am so grateful Rabby and Tanya trusted me to be part of this moment. Congratulations to you both. I cannot wait for what comes next.

On a personal note, my son Eli was my second shooter for this session. Watching him grow behind the camera over the past year, learning to anticipate moments and trust his own eye, has been one of the real joys of this work for me.

There is something so special about a maternity session that includes a big sister in the making. Sh*tal came in glowing and ready to celebrate this new chapter, and her daughter stole the show with all the sweetness only a soon to be older sibling can bring.

We closed out the session in a beautiful traditional saree, celebrating this new chapter with all the richness of her culture. There is something so powerful about honoring where you come from while stepping into who you are becoming, as a mother.

They are keeping the baby's gender a surprise, but big sister is convinced she is getting a little brother. We will all find out together soon enough.

Congratulations to this beautiful family. I cannot wait to meet the newest addition.
