Well I got results last night that my test I did last week looked good. Today I had a stress test which is required once you reach 40 years old to pass an FAA physical. I survived the test so I guess that's a positive. Should have results in a week or so. Getting everything done to try and pass this physical has been long, but hopefully worth it. Hopefully in the coming months we will know if I will be able to offer spray drone services. I really hope it works out. The future of drones, especially in agriculture is exciting.

Well my birthday is coming up so I got a new to me drone. It'll sure be fun to fly but also another tool in the toolbox.

Let's play a little where in Texas County Missouri did Jonathan do drone work today. Name the road/location and the well maintained cemetery next to it. First one to name it gets a free drone print of your choice or 10 plus photos of the location of your choice edited and delivered by Google drive link. To win you need to be within an hour's drive of me or I will consider going farther.

If buildings could talk I can only imagine what this one might say. Kind of sad to see a piece of history in such poor shape but neat that it still stands.

So a little over a year ago the federal government watched a china "weather balloon" enter our air space on the west coast. Did they shoot it down before it went over any land in our air space? Not a chance. They let China fly coast to coast and it was obviously being controlled rather than a balloon just flying where the wind took it. It went over so many places that were a security compromise and then we shoot it down as it makes it to the east Coast where it had already collected the Info they wanted and fed it back to them. Fast forward to 2024. Drone pilots are going to have DJI drones and products are being banned along with other drones with China chips even if the drone itself is being made in the U.S. Why are they doing this? It's a security risk and China can hear Americans heart beat from drones in the sky. 🙄 Really? We let them fly a balloon coast to coast before taking it out but we are going to ground drones that are not a security risk. I'm not flying over anything China is going to have interest in and neither is any other drone pilot. So what's the big deal? Sure China makes some cheap junk. But they sure are leaders in a lot of technology. Technology that anything made in America can not come close to compare. Drones have so many uses from recreational use to search and rescue and agriculture and so much more. Why is our government doing this when there are so many bigger fish to fry?

That groundhog lied. It's cold out there today. I have a few real estate jobs to fly tomorrow and wanted to fly a bit since I haven't in a good while. I was in the air a few minutes. The drone did what it should after its updates and having a pilot that's not been in the air this winter. It's amazing how different it looks in the woods without any leaves. I'm excited to get to do some work tomorrow. For those maybe wondering about the AG drone stuff. I'm hopeful it'll happen this year but it may be next season before it comes together. Being a diabetic I have to go through a bunch of hoops and red tape for Uncle Sam to see if I can get there blessing to fly a drone over 55 pounds. I also have an appointment with a hand surgeon for carpal tunnel the first part of March. I'm really hoping that can be put off until this fall late so the bee season isn't interrupted and I can enjoy flying in the nice weather.

Who would of thought drones would become so useful in so many task and that we would have the technology we do with them. They are starting to make a bit difference in agriculture. I'm excited for the future of drone technology, especially in agriculture. These drones make so much sense to me. You don't have to worry about the ground being wet to use them. They aren't going to cause soil compaction. You don't have to drive a ground rig on steep rocky hills, and they can spray where other aerial applications can't be done. This spring if everything goes as planned I will be offering drone spraying services with this drone in the video. Liquid application of fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide and fungicide can be done with this drone. You can also spread cover crops and other pelletized products. Contact me if you are interested in having a drone put to use for you this spring.

Folks here is another project that I'd like to possibly get some help on and partner with someone. Real estate is a pretty common niche with drone photography, and photography in general. I have the drone side covered pretty well. What I'd like to find is someone to partner with for interior photos. Being physically limited I'm not as able to do good inside photos like I can outside in the air. Ideally I'd like someone fairly close and someone not in the real estate business themselves. You would partner on these projects and would combine in with the total quote on the project, you tell me what your price is and we include it in the job. Bonus if you can edit the interior still photos as well. Message me or reply here if you fit the bill.

Folks it's small businesses Saturday. I encourage you to get out there and make a purchase from a local small business. I know they would all like to do business with you while you are doing your Christmas shopping. With that said message me today only Saturday 11/25 to book your future aerial photos that can be for you or to pass on as a gift. Today only I will offer $25 off the base price of $100 of my starting price. Total price varies depending on location and requested final product delivered. Also in the works is the agriculture spraying service. If I get into spraying book today, no deposit needed with the chance I don't get to running this spring. With booking today I'll discount my service by a dollar an acre sprayed. Prices will vary depending on product sprayed or spread, typically $16 to $18 an acre. Discount applies for booking today only. Send me a message here to book.
