A native of New Jersey, I received my first camera at a young age; and, over the ensuing years, enjoyed exploring and photographing the myriad landscapes of Northeast America. Following my Navy service, which deepened my love of our country and its surrounding beauty, I settled into a fulfilling career in financial services, retiring after forty-one years in the field. In late 2019, I moved from c

entral New Jersey to extraordinarily beautiful coastal North Carolina, falling quickly in love with its ever-changing seascapes and bountiful palette of colors. My deep-seated appreciation for our environment drives me to convey through my photography the many moods, and beauty, of our planet. This appreciation will, I believe, continue to guide me in offering unique perspectives of nature, people, and the dynamic surroundings of our region. When I’m not out and about with my camera, I enjoy old movies, quiet times, and, of course, answering the summons of several insistent cats.

This year, Louis Salamon Photography is delighted to offer three calendar designs for 2023. From Southport to Myrtle Beach, the Coastal Carolina calendar presents unique perspectives of coastal living. The Sunset Beach calendar offers vibrant scenes captioned with excerpts from my poetry. If you love Sunset Beach…or beach life in general, you’ll love this calendar! Also, you all know how much I love my little community of Devaun Park – so we also offer a calendar showcasing some of the lovely homes and amenities throughout the community.
