My husband and I have been on a little get away trip, full of adventures and exploring! We've explored caves, hiked trails and mini canyons and saw more beautiful sights along the way and laughed more than we have in a while.

I was also able to pull out one of my cameras for this trip and really dig into learning new manual settings. I was able to reconnect with my photography love this week and I cannot wait to share some shots with all of you! I hope you're ready!! 😊

We had another good frost this morning! I couldn't help myself and went out to capture more shots of the beauty!

I enjoy getting close and personal with nature. Its my happy place, and taking a moment to notice and appreciate the very little details should be done more often.

Hi. Its been awhile! Today I realized that when I went to go snap shots of the beautiful frost we had this morning and both my camera batteries were dead. So, I ended up snapping a few on my phone. It was just beautiful I took s many, but here are my favorites! -Alma

Happy Earth Day 🌻🌎

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, it now includes events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network in more than 193 countries.

This here is one of many sunflowers that have started thriving under my bird feeders from fallen seeds. They weren't supposed to grow, but they took root and grew anyways. Be a sunflower. Go where ever the wind blows you, plant your roots and grow beautiful and strong. 🌻

Yesterday I was walking the perimeter of our front yard garden bed looking for snail shells for my daughter, when instead I came across this little gem!

I snapped the picture then ran inside to grab my girl so she could see! We had a little mini lesson in baby birds and their eggshells. Then looked around to see if we could spot the best, to no luck. Must have been way up high in our cedar tree.
