Hello Everyone,
As many of you know I’ve slowed my photography business down quite a bit over the past year and I’ve made the difficult decision to hang up my camera indefinitely after this fall. I will be taking on a larger role at my day job in the next couple of weeks and I just don’t have the stamina I used to juggle my business on nights and weekends like I used to in my 30’s. Thank you to all of you out there that have trusted me all these years with your weddings, special occasions and families. It’s been one of the greatest joys of my life to be a small part of yours.

I told myself that I was going to quietly bow out of the wedding circuit for good this year and then I got a message from Ashely and I thought I could do just one more...I met these two about 14 years ago as middle schoolers when they were part of the first health classes I ever taught at Roscoe. I'm not sure any of us could have predicted that I would one day stand in front of them as their wedding photographer. It was great to see B and Ashley yesterday as they celebrated their love. They have truly turned into great humans along with so many other former students I got to see yesterday. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Erick Hill!

Out of all the barn weddings I 've shot, I think this is the first time it actually involved horses:) Congrats to this fun-loving couple on what was a perfect fall day.

It's been a while since I've posted through this busy year full of changes and new experiences but I have had many beautiful faces in front of my camera. Thank you to all of you who forced me to keep the dust off my camera. Now that life is settling down I'm opening up some more sessions this summer and fall so if there are any of my regulars out there that want to get their sessions started early for their holiday cards, shoot me a message.

Hello Everyone! It's been a while since I posted any updates but a few things moving forward. Until August 2024, I'm going to have limited availability for photo sessions. I've started taking classes for an additional education certification and most of my classes are during the weekends. With that being said, I'm not taking on any additional weddings until next August. If you already have a wedding scheduled with me, don't worry your date is safe. Also, my fall family season is going to be very limited so if all of my regulars would consider scheduling their sessions during the summer I would appreciate it. I'm only going to be offering mini sessions on a limited basis during the peak fall season. I'm sorry if this causes an inconvenience, but sadly, my stamina isn't what it used to be when juggling the craziness of life. If our schedules can't connect, please consider trying out one of my colleagues in the field...there are many wonderful photographers in the area to chose from who may have a new and fresh take on your family sessions. Variety is the spice of life :). Thank you in advance for understanding!

Seems like just yesterday I was doing their engagement photos in this very spot. Fast forward a few years and they are about to become a family of four:) Time doesn't stand still for anyone, that's for sure!
