"Reaching Out" - Funny how the scenes you overlook the most sometimes have the most to say.

This story—and the image behind it—was recently published in Landscape Photography Magazine. I’ve also shared the short story on my website under the tab, Beyond the Frame.

Turns out, even “forgettable” landscapes just need the right light… and a second chance.

Well… this is a first.

I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected as the 2026 Cellar Select Artist Series photographer for Goose Ridge Vineyards.

That means my images are now officially on something I’ve never dreamed of
👉 on wine bottles!!

According to Goose Ridge's release, the series “showcases the work of Pacific Northwest photographer Ken Henke, whose landscapes bring an added layer of artistry to each bottle.”

Which is a classy way of saying:
you can now enjoy my photography… with a corkscrew.

Each label features a different scene—photos taken since my arrival in Washington.

Turns out my photos don’t just hang on walls anymore…
Now they pair nicely with wine. 🍷

I am SO grateful that Goose Ridge Winery runs this artist series every year and for my opportunity. Pretty cool to see the work take on a whole new life outside of a frame!

There will be some "meet the artist" events I will share in the future.
