Step down to paradise.

Last trip to QRoo was very short. We were there for three days and four nights and one of those days we briefly visited the Tulum ruins.

Everything was so beautiful and the beach was amazing the only issue was that they were closing within 20mins after we had purchased our entry tickets.

So going back to Cancun in a little over two months is very exciting not just because I will get to to visit the Tulum ruins again but also to be shooting one of my best friend's wedding.

Sitting here reminiscing on my 70-200mm lens. It was for sure my least used lens but when I got to use it the sharpness and details from it was undeniable. Because of it I used to shoot more outdoors and haven't done that in a good minute. Might have to just get the lens again but the damn price tag is not to desired.

Home sweet home. One of my earliest images that made me fall in love with photography. It's only the pictures, it's the experiences and the people behind the images, the feeling you are left with is what I value most.

Couple of weeks ago I did a 1yr anniversary shoot for a friend and for some reason I fell in love with shooting people all over again. I'm not a portrait photographer at all, 90% of my work is landscape however I was impressed by how the photoshoot turned out and most of all Sherry and Kelsey loved the pics.

Working with such an amazing couple brought back the passion I had from years ago. I have thought about it and I will start doing portraits again. Not just picking up any clients, this time I will be very selective on who I get to work with.

So for those who want to do a photoshoot email me, details on the BIO. BOOKING FOR OCTOBER right now. @ Vancouver, British Columbia

Everything in life happens for a reason. I remember this morning hike in Manarola, Cinque Terre like it was yesterday. Got up at 6am to go photograph the sunrise at Vernazza and I got to the train station just in time to hop in and I didn't have a ticket with me. So my thought was to buy one on my phone while I was in the trail to avoid fines but the internet wasn't working. I decided to hop out at the next stop to buy one then catch the next train to my stop. But as soon as I jumped out of the train and looked up at the next train schedule I knew I should've just stayed in the train and gotten a ticket if it came to it since the next train was a good hour from then and I was running short on time to make it to Vernazza for the sunrise.
Instead of putting my head down and playing with my phone I decided to get going and see what's beyond the train station. It was still super early for the locals there but I was greeted with vibrant coloured houses and a hill. My curiosity kicked in, what's beyond that corner? Mmmhh!! Where do these stairs lead to? And that was the beginning of the best sunrise experience I have ever had. I was in a rush to get somewhere else but the universe slowed me down a bit knowing that there was something better for me to experience.
And THIS image happens to be my favorite piece of art I have ever created.
