Beautiful Big Sur Wedding at Wind and Sea Estate with services by to Cambria locals: photography by me, hair and makeup by Rhonda Johnson, catering by Chef Elaine from Monterey. My wife and I have worked in the local wedding industry for almost 20 years and definitely feel that there are some misconceptions about the business. I would say 95% of the time the couples and their guests are kind, respectful people that just want to enjoy our beautiful coast with loved ones for the weekend. Typically they spend quite a bit and a lot of that money goes into our economy. This venue in Big Sur is well known within the wedding industry but not known much outside of it. It is a stunning 10 acre, oceanfront, hillside property with a main house and guest quarters. The views are spectacular. Guests are always happy with the result. Throw in a small catered dinner from one of SLO or Monterey Co's finest chefs and you have an evening you'll never forget.

A beautiful, beautiful day . Fantabulous hair and makeup by ‘The Lodge’ as it’s called, is a great place for a wedding (big or small) and a great place to take pics. The garden seems to go on forever and offers a range of spectacular vignettes. One of my favorite spots to shoot for sure! Thanks Victoria for hiring us!

This is my dear friends’ house in . It has a beautiful cabin that you can rent for your elopement via It’s amazing, private, in an old-growth redwood forest, with a creek, a bridge, a treehouse, a very unique main house, a long beautiful driveway and an obtuse in residence that we’re pretty sure isn’t quite right. My friend Ken Robins officiated for this cool SF Chef couple. They went to Aubergine in Carmel after for dinner. is the only Michelin stared restaurant on the coast. I would say while they were on a budget, they certainly spent their money at the right spots. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone do it more efficiently. Carmel is mind-blowingly beautiful...
