What can easily be considered the most enthusiastic surprise reaction we have documented to date, Kallie indeed said yes when Ryan dropped to a knee last night in the frigid temps atop Madonna Mountain at Smugglers' Notch Resort. With some trust from Ryan, we set a warm, welcoming scene as the winds picked up and the temps dropped. They were still aglow this afternoon when once again the cloud ceiling lifted in time for our 2º session. The cold only froze the smiles on their faces. Love Wins again!

Amidst one of the most beautiful stretches of weather we can recall, Kim and I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement of these kind souls. Kayla and Colin are two fun-loving adventurers who don't shy away from looking nice and hoofing to the top of a mountain for sunset. This was a fun one, in a gorgeous location. Nothing was more clear to us that these two love each other so much! Lily and Sophia came to Vermont to celebrate their 5th anniversary together, and Lily felt it would be a good time to turn the page into the next chapter of their love story. A lovely moment at Waterbury Reservoir lead to a 5⭐️ dinner at Hen of the Woods.

Also, to note - we love Waterbury! The people we encounteted during this session in town were so amazingly positive and fun to interact with - we just know that Lily and Sophia felt the Vermont Love!

And we truly love what we get to do on our Friday evenings; especially when we can spend that time with people like these two.
