Wednesday Morning Artists of Cambridge, MD Wednesday Morning Artists is a diverse group of local artists united by a desire to promote art in the community for the enjoyment of everyone. It's free!

The Wednesday Morning Artists have been bringing talent and energy to serve the community and to promote art and all of its benefits for the past 15 years. Meetings are lively with speakers, educational seminars, round table discussions, discounts on art supplies, combined orders for art materials, trips to art exhibits, and lots more. The artists have diverse talents: painters, illustrators, photographers, potters, sculptors, writers, jewelers, doll-makers, basket-makers, fiber artists and more. Some are highly experienced and formally trained. Some are self taught. Some are hoping to develop their talents. Some have lofty professional ambitions. Some are happy in expressing themselves artistically. Some are simply interested in helping the community. All of this is done with no dues, no fees, no bylaws, no officers and no board of directors. Weekly meetings are usually held 9:30 a.m. at Peach Blossom Place, 900 Peach Blossom Ave, Cambridge, MD 21613

It’s an enthusiastic, fun group and all mediums and skill levels are welcome. It's a unique and amazing organization by any yardstick.

I just watched WBOC’s feature on the Cambridge Woman’s Club, and now I want to visit! The segment showcases the Women’s Hall of History, complete with historic fashions, local stories, and the beautifully restored Sycamore Cottage.

It looks like a wonderful source of inspiration for artists. If you’re looking for something to do on a Saturday, I highly recommend watching the news segment and considering a visit!

The Women's Hall of History grew out of the clubs' archives. Members uncovered a wealth of documentation of local women's achievements. They decided to create a public exhibit to share

John Iimpieri spoke to Wednesday Morning Artists and we were mesmerized and very excited about this form of art. I highly recommend taking his class. He will also be offering classes at Dorchester Center for the Arts.

🥰Loved having our friends stop by yesterday. Today will be another fantastic day in sunny Cambridge. Sun is shining and we’ll be having our open studio at 10am ☀️
