Took a short adventure to Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area to see what I could see. One of the things I enjoy most about photography is going places without a plan, letting things happen, and creating visions on the spot. When I arrived it was apparent that we’ve seen a very dry warm season. Pools were almost dry which meant less wildlife but the gray, overcast day meant for vibrant fall colors and creative slow shutter speeds.
