Yep, it’s possible. Adding music to your photo carousel can make it eligible to appear in the Reels tab, giving your content another opportunity to reach new eyes.

Want your Reels to reach people who don’t already follow you?

Keep them under 3 minutes! Instagram says Reels over 3 minutes won’t be recommended to new audiences, so if growth is the goal, keep it short, keep it engaging, and give people a reason to stick around.

Plot twist: slide one isn’t always your only first impression. Instagram can resurface carousel posts starting on a different slide, so don’t save all the good stuff for the cover.

Make every slide worth stopping for, because you never know which one will hit their feed first.
