NGC 660 an inclined ring galaxy found in Pisces. Imaged using RC 8, QSI 683 mono camera, unguided off a MyT mount. Exposure times were 10 hrs Lum 3 hrs each RGB.

Messier 82 in Ursa Major approx 12 million light years distant. Imaged with 8 inch RC telescope unguided using QSI683 camera and Software Bisque MyT mount. Exposure times are 240 seconds each total exposure time is 14 hours. RGB 2 hrs each Luminance is 8 hours.

NGC6946 known as the fireworks galaxy because of the high rate of supernova found in this galaxy. According to wiki the supernova rate is 10 times the milky way galaxy even though the milky way holds twice the stars. Imaged using 8 inch RC telescope @ f/8 or 1600 mm focal length. QSI 683 mono camera atop a software bisque MyT mount. Not sure how facebook compression will do with this one. Included a link to view on my website.

ARP 299 is a collision of 2 barred irregular galaxies located in Ursa Major about 135 million light years away. There appears to be a stream of stars coming off the pair. There are many back round galaxies in the image. Imaged using 8 inch RC telescope, mono QSI 683 unguided at f/8 or 1600 mm focal length using a MyT mount. Apparent size is 2.4x1.9 arc minutes for comparison full moon is 31 arc mminutes.

Found a M 42 file from Jan 2022. I was having some issues my camera ring wasnt holding camera in place all fixed since then I have SOO much Orion nebula to work with. Screen shot shows a single 5 min image
