Where it all began

For as long as I can remember I have always had some sort of camera in my hand. I first remember having a pink barbie Polaroid when I was about 6 years old that I begged my mom for on a vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After that I twas introduced to disposable cameras. After that I found my mom’s Kodak. In 9th grade I was able to test shoot with a Canon Rebel for a photography class. I started taking senior pictures for close friends when I was a junior in high school. In college I had purchased my first DSLR, it was a Nikon D70 and by word of mouth I had been asked to do a small wedding or two. I’ve dabbled with film here and there. I’ve always had an eye and love for photography but never new whether or not to take the next step.

In January 2019, I took a trip to Vermont and one of my friends let me try out her new Sony a7iii. I fell in love with photography again in a way I never have before. I knew I wanted to make it more than a hobby. I am now shooting with the Sony a6000 and can’t wait to dive in and learn as much as I can about this business as well as take my creative expression and vision to a whole new level. I want to collaborate with you and help turn your story’s and ideas into reality through the lens of a camera.
