Introducing “Throttle”!

Every forecast in GoldenLight now runs on Throttle, our own weather engine built for one thing: light.
Not “will it rain.” Will the horizon open at sunset. Is that cirrus thin enough to catch color. Is the marine layer sitting below your ridge or on top of it.

Throttle was built by a landscape photographer to answer the questions weather apps were never designed for, and it looks at the actual sky, not just the model.

The Lunar Eclipse from last night! Definitely had some choices to make in where to go last night. GoldenLight: Photo Planner gave us several, but glad we chose this location as we got to see and hangout with some amazing photographer friends.
