I just don’t market to them specifically.
Absolutely I will do a personal brand photography shoot with a man!
If they are cool with my bad ass female energy I bring to my main marketing then I am thrilled to work with whoever has a spirit of collaboration and a willingness to tell their story and get in front of the camera.
Enter Joey! Joey is both a realtor with Asheville Realty & Associates and founder of Reed Builders of WNC, Inc.
We co created a variety of images for his contractor business, his real estate career and a few lifestyle images of him and his wife.
When listening to his story it was clear his business values of integrity, honesty, hard work and care for his clients were strong themes throughout both careers.
Knowing your brand values helps me to plan for prompts, posing, props and personality that fits your story and invite your audience to feel and understand who you are.
Joey also shared how he would love his golden retriever, Hank, in some images because he felt Hank was an important part of his personal brand (and his life).
As soon as Joey sat at his desk Hank moved right into positioning as Joey’s side kick and foot rest.
I almost let Hank steal the show but was able to rein it in and be sure to highlight Joey as the main character of the story.
It was a lovely afternoon session at Joey’s home, that he built, moving around from the porch to the pool to the kitchen to the work shop where he was crafting their new dining room table.
If I needed a contractor or a real estate agent that I could trust to be communicative and honest I would not hesitate to work with Joey.
It’s not uncommon for brands to ask me to highlight a few different pieces of their life. Personal brands are human and humans have many aspects to the life they want to share about with their community.
Pets, family, your home and sometimes even your hobbies are all potential pieces of your brand.
Thank you Joey Reed / WNC Real Estate Joey Reed for trusting me with your brand images.
