Nyeighsha and Coleman’s engagement session was the perfect way to kick off my busy season. They were so fun to work with, and their love for each other made my job easy. We booked this session almost two months ago and when you’re booking during the month of April on the coast you truly never know what to expect for weather. How we got so lucky with such an incredible golden hour I’m not sure, but we soaked it up until the sun went down.

Kema Joe (KJ) - wild to think she’s almost 1, so I figured it was about time to share these sweet moments from her newborn session from last year. She is the happiest, sweetest baby. She also has the best big sister, Logan, to show her the way. I feel so blessed to be able to watch her and her sister grow up along side my kids and capture them all along the way.

There’s something special about saying “I do” at home—surrounded by the same community and familiar faces that shaped your story. It’s the kind of day that feels easy, heartfelt, and full of meaning.

When Maddy first asked me to photograph her wedding, I said no. I respected the responsibility and didn’t want to get it wrong. But she emphasized how much she trusted me, and the truth is—I’ve always been a softie for love and happily-ever-afters. That trust gave me the push I needed to say yes.

Maddy and Hunter were married by the river behind Hunter’s family home, surrounded by lush green trees and the calming rhythm of the water—a setting as naturally beautiful as their story.

Today marks a big step forward for me — I’m finally having spine surgery to address the chronic pain I’ve lived with since our car accident years ago. I’ll be spending the next few months healing, recovering, and rebuilding my strength, so I can be back behind the camera better than ever.

Because of that, I’m now scheduling sessions starting in May through December so I can get back on my feet and strong enough to comfortably hold a camera and walk around in soft sand with all of you again.

I’m so grateful for the clients who met me with patience and kindness on the days I was slower-moving or pushing through discomfort. This season has reminded me how much we don’t always see what others are carrying — and how powerful a little grace can be.

My availability is intentionally limited so I can give my best to both my clients and my family, so if you’ve been thinking about booking, now’s the time.

I’ll be sharing what’s left of my summer weekend availability in my “Availability” highlight.

Sadie and Drew welcomed baby Hazel in April and I was lucky enough to capture her first weeks at home. The early days of a newborn hold a kind of quiet magic. Time feels slower, suspended between the rhythm of tiny breaths and the softness of new skin. Every detail is precious—the way their fingers instinctively curl around yours, the peaceful weight of their body resting against your chest, the delicate scent that is entirely their own. Their cries are fragile yet powerful, reminding you of their brand-new presence in the world.
