Im sorry that I havent been available, but our family has had a lot going on 🤷‍♀️ (our daughter)

Hi everyone! Its Aimee and I just wanted to make an announcement. I have been dealing with a severe disc herniation at L4-L5-S1. So much pain that I lost the ability to walk and needed to be transported by ambulance to the hospital. I'm currently in pueblo and had surgery yesterday. Feeling so much better now, but I need some R&R.

I have closed my books for the time being while I figure out my next steps. Once I feel confident in myself again I will open up gradually. Only haircut.. I will work on shaves and chemical services later. In the mean time please reach out to my fantastic co workers! They are the absolute best teammates i could ever ask for and have been working overtime to help me in every way!

Sometimes I miss the days when families booked photos every year, when my calendar was full, and when capturing your moments felt like a regular part of life here in Canon City.
The world has changed a lot since then — the economy, the pace of life, the way we use our phones, all of it.

I get it. Photography is a want, not a need. And when budgets get tight, wants get pushed aside.

But I’ll be honest: I still love this work. I love creating images that feel real and meaningful. I love giving families something they can look back on without scrolling through thousands of phone photos. I don’t need to be booked every weekend — I just want the sessions I do have to be worth the time, the connection, and the art we create together.

I keep my sessions simple and affordable, and I include the finished digital images because you’re paying for my time, my eye, and my experience — the art is my gift back to you.

And if you ever want something physical, the one product I still believe in is a simple, beautiful album. No pressure, no sales pitch — just an option if you want your story in your hands instead of on a screen.

I’m still here, still creating, still loving this craft.
