Hey there! We’re currently in Vegas with our good friends from . We had the honor of listening to Rocky’s (owner of PS) break out session talking about thriving in a small town. The amount of intention and love he has for his community and employees is unmatched. He genuinely cares about his employees and it shows with the love they give back. We had the honor of meeting him at a workshop where he was yet again, networking and creating relationships/partnerships. If you would’ve told me in 2017 that we would be in Vegas at the with that one pizza truck dude that we met at that one workshop, I’d say you were crazy. But it goes to show you that if you show genuine interest in a person and invest time in getting to know them, you can make powerful connections and even more powerful friendships. Next time you’re craving pizza, skip dominos and pizza hut, and support your local pizza makers. And if you want the greatest pizza in the world, go to Park Street Pizza in Sugarcreek Ohio! 🤘

Social media is stupid. It’s considered a necessary evil by any business industry but to us, it’s just evil 🤷‍♂️ Business professionals told us that if we don’t post to social media that we won’t get any customers or that we won’t be relevant in the industry. In the first couple years of our business that’s all we did, we posted, stayed relevant, was all in on social media and it got us nowhere. We were exhausted, working all the time, caught in all the drama. And then fast forward to the past two years where we post something every 3 months, and it’s amazing. We’re more busy than we’ve ever been, we’re connected with a lot of friends and customers, and we aren’t worried about photography drama and all that comes with it. Occasionally you’ll see updates from us on our stories above, you’ll see our house projects, day of shoots, or highlights from different things we love. We’ll post down here whenever we feel inspired. So if you see a post, just know we’re posting it because we really wanted to share something, not because we felt like we had to.

Also, here’s a photo shoot and some designs we did for our friends at featuring our fireplace! If you’ve followed us for some time you would know that I built this and I’ve vowed to never build a fireplace again cause that crap sucked.

Let me set the scene. It’s late. It’s like, 11pm and there’s nothing to eat in the house, you got the munchies, you’re hungry, and you’re about to make some bad decisions with food. But wait, there is hope in the distance, a light, oh my goodness, it’s Annies White Cheddar Macaroni. You both look at each other, it’s mutual, it’s love at first sight. You get that water boiling which takes like 10 minutes, but it’s worth it. You go to pour that sweet sweet macaroni into that pot to realize, THERE’S NO CHEESE PACKET. We had to settle with making our own cheese concoction.

This is also a friendly PSA/encouragement to embrace the chaos of your plans if you’re getting married, in spite of this tumultuous season. Love conquers all, and that’s what matters in the end.
