Every Mom of a senior client has always asked me for the exact same thing: a good shot they can use for announcements. Of course! That’s like goal #1 of what we are here for. We absolutely always get the ‘necessary’ shots that immediately come to mind when doing senior sessions. But, as a creative, I HAVE TO take some artsy shots, something a little more creative, something that I can edit with a little more moodiness. I’m always thankful when my Seniors humor me and let me pose them next to muraled walls, or when they hold still so I can take a picture of their shoes… they give me weird looks, maybe an eye roll here or there, but in the end they always end up loving those images (like I knew they would).
