The inquiry I received was for south Texas. They had no idea that having a wedding designed around their own personalities could even be a thing. I blew their dang minds when I painted the picture of what a true, intentional elopement could look like and planned a whole year with them. I tried to make it as stress free as possible and within their budget.
I’ll tell you what happens when there’s no audience: the vows hit different.
Nobody’s performing. Nobody’s rushing. These two met working at a brewery in South Texas, spent years as best friends first, got engaged at Big Bend and then stood in the Alaskan backcountry and meant every single word, with nobody else around for miles.
I asked Amanda what she’d tell a couple who wants this but isn’t sure, she didn’t hesitate:
“DO IT! I can’t tell you enough, do it. Even if the plan changes 5 times in the day because of weather, energy levels, or whatever. Brit will ensure you have the time of your life and get great pictures too.”
