As a photographer, my job is to always document your special moments safely and respectfully. I know I can say im in fear myself as a mother and grandmother of the new AI regulations or lack there of. I like to think of each of my clients as family!
While I offer Family, Senior, Wedding and Sports Photography, somethings will change with regards to posting them to social media. With how rapidly AI technology is changing, I can no longer ignore the growing risks of putting identifiable images of children online. With recent legal rulings highlighting serious gaps of how AI generated images are regulated and making it far too easy for public shared photos of children to be saved, manipulated, and misused without parental consent- I have decided a change needs to be made.
What this means for the clients and families of Jamie Beck Photography
📸 16 & Under Face Privacy- I will no longer publicly share images that are identified as the face as a baby, children or minors under the age of 16 on my business page or social media regardless of signed release forms or parent consent. Parents may still post and Please we ask you tag us!
❤️ Sessions Unchanged- your session experience will not change! I will still continue to offer small family sessions to capture the memories for new families, newborns and children. They will be sent to you in an email and not shared online by way of social media by Jamie Beck Photography. Again if you chose to post them we would a tag.
📸Your Photos are Yours- You will still receive a full gallery and will still have the freedom to save, print, and share your images however you choose! In the past after you received your gallery my favorite 5-8 images have been shared to facebook and instagram. While i wont be doing this for children under the age of 16, I will still do this for Seniors, Weddings and Sports! To be honest teenagers see their friends Senior pics and this is how most of us get our next years senior models!
