All weddings, without a doubt, are so special for me to capture. Being a part of everyone’s love stories is honestly so cool and something I don’t take for granted.
This one though, this one meant the most ✨🤍
Getting to capture my cousin and best friend’s wedding day was an honor I’ll never be able to put into words. I’ve spent years behind my camera capturing other people’s love stories, but being able to preserve hers, man that was something special. All of the little moments, the big emotions (especially me crying lololol), and all the memories in between, was something I’ll cherish forever.
And as if photographing her day wasn’t already special enough, I also had the incredible honor of standing beside her and delivering a speech about the woman I’ve grown up with and loved for over 30 years. My speech was way too long and I cried way too much but honestly how else are you supposed to deliver a speech about the one person who’s had your back since the day they were born?? That’s right through tears and laughter.
To capture her love story through my lens and celebrate it with my words was such a full circle moment. Looking back through all of the photos has made me even more emotional, because I get to relive every laugh, tear, hug, and unforgettable moment all over again. It truly is something special 🥹
