Surgery is all done, and went great, so I'm slowly creeping back into work mode!
Finally getting the rest of baby Maggie's session up! She was just so perfect. And NOTHING makes me happier than families returning to me with each of their new babies! I get attached to you guys, okay!?
Lets talk for a second about newborn sessions... and how they go around here!
Bringing home a new baby comes with enough to think about, your newborn session shouldn't add to the stress. I usually book newborns a few months before the due date. I know you have a lot on your plate, but if you can try to check that one off early, it's for the best! That way I can make a plan to get you in. Its best to photograph newborns the first 7-15 days!
When you book a newborn session with me, here's what you can expect:
- A detailed client guide before your session so you know exactly how to prepare and what to expect.
-Family and sibling photos are done first, so parents can relax and older kiddos can be finished early. Does the baby have siblings? They don't bother me. I have kids. I get it. I have toys at the studio for them. They can stay and play or dad can take them out for lunch for a bit while we finish. I'm unbothered either way!
- A warm, cozy studio designed to keep your baby comfortable and sleepy.
- A calm, patient approach. Newborn sessions are never rushed. We follow baby's lead and allow time for feeding, cuddles, and soothing as needed.
- 15 years of experience working with newborns and safely posing babies. Honestly? I got this. I've seen a thing or two, I can soothe your baby. You can relax! If I had a dollar for every time a parent asked during their session if I could come soothe their baby at midnight lol
- No need to pack a car full of props, wraps, or outfits. I provide everything needed for your baby's photos, including wraps, blankets, headbands, bonnets, and carefully selected newborn outfits.
- My goal is a relaxed experience focused on creating timeless images while you enjoy these fleeting first days.
Those tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, and newborn snuggles change so quickly. My goal is to make the process easy and stress-free so you can simply enjoy this season and walk away with beautiful memories of it.
