How to choose what part of this frame I love most... is it his little hands, those cheeks, the fact that he was over 9 lbs., or that we shot it outside on his family's porch on a warm Summer morning? I don't know; all of it's pretty great.

Oh, just a gorgeous Spring wonderland in their own backyard. How lucky are B. and his pup, Penny, to have such a beautiful place to play?!

And how lucky am I to have had his lovely family in front of my lens for a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser mini session? (Thank you, Danielle Kimmel!)

We've done 10 now, with the last few coming up, and I'm so thankful for the great response.

My husband is participating in LLS's Man and Woman of the Year fundraising campaign this Spring and I'd love to get behind this effort.

*Leukemia is the #1 disease killer among children under the age of 20.

*40% of new cancer therapies approved by the FDA since 2000 were first approved for blood cancers, in large part due to LLS’s efforts.

So a win-win for you AND this great cause: a 20 minute mini session to include ALL of your final, edited digital files for a donation of $200 (typically these include your choice of 5, and the option to purchase the additional images for $100). I'll be setting up a donor page and 100% of the mini session proceeds will go directly to LLS. Your payment will be your donation! Please let me know if you need new family photos, updated shots of your kids, headshots for you - you name it. Other than extended families, which a mini session is just not enough time for - we can do it.

That's a wrap on October! Thirteen family sessions, four brand new newborns, two maternity shoots, and a partridge in a pear tree :) I don't update Facebook often, but do pretty well on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/egmphotos. I have good intentions of posting them all here eventually, and for now, let's work backwards with the most recent sweethearts. I got to meet this wee girl and boy, and their lovely family, on Thursday.
