A little life update from Wild Retro Photography 🤍

As many of you know, we are getting ready to welcome our sweet baby girl, so I’ll be slowing things down for a little while to enjoy this special season with my family!

My regular books will be closed November 15th through January 15th. I will still be offering a few mini sessions here and there during my break, so keep an eye on my page for those announcements! 📸

I still have openings in September, October, and the beginning of November, so if you’re wanting a full session before I take some time off, make sure to get on my calendar!

I am so incredibly happy for them as they get ready to welcome another sweet baby girl into their family. She is already so loved, and she has the BEST big sister! 💕

And of course, we can’t forget Miss Aggie! 🐾 She is always a fan favorite, the sweetest pup ever, and forever welcome at my sessions. 🤍

Lily and Tayden aren’t originally from Carlsbad—but I am so thankful our paths crossed. ❤️ They’re expecting twins, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited for them! I already know they’re going to be incredible parents.

Janae is a senior from Artesia, and she also plays softball. Getting to spend the evening with her and her mom was such a joy. You can truly feel the excitement for everything this senior year is going to bring, and it made this session so special.

✨✨ 2027 Sweet Seniors are back! ✨

This is one of my absolute favorite things I get to do every year.

As a way to give back to the community that has supported me so much, I’ll be choosing THREE Class of 2027 seniors for my Pay What You Can Sweet Seniors Program. 🤍

Senior year can be overwhelming. Between college applications, figuring out what’s next, balancing school, work, sports, and everything in between, I know this season isn’t always easy. I also know that professional senior pictures aren’t something every family can fit into the budget.

I truly believe every senior deserves beautiful photos to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime milestone.

Each Sweet Senior selected will receive:

🤍 A mini senior session with regular portraits
🎓 A professional yearbook headshot
🎉 A cap and gown mini session at the end of the school year

There is no set price for either photography session. Instead, you simply pay what you can. Whether that’s a little or a lot, my hope is that finances never keep a senior from celebrating this special season of life.

I’m so excited to share that Fab.U.Lyz , an amazing hairstylist here in Carlsbad, New Mexico, is partnering with Wild Photography for this year’s Sweet Seniors program!

She has generously offered to provide a pay-what-you-can hairstyling appointment for all three Sweet Seniors before their photo sessions, helping them feel confident, beautiful, and ready for their big day.

Hannah and Lee were just passing through Carlsbad while visiting from out of town. After exploring the Caverns, they wanted to make one last stop before heading home to capture a few memories of their trip.

I’m so thankful they chose me to document this special part of their adventure! It was such a joy getting to meet them, and I can’t wait to share more from their session. They are such kind, genuine people, and I loved getting to spend a little time with them.
