This photo has got to be one of my favorite shots that I’ve ever taken. It was completely random on the way to grab a beer with at in . It’s not tack sharp. I shot it while walking backwards across the street at a slow 1/100th of a second and trying not to get hit by traffic coming up the street behind me. It’s not perfect by any means, but I love it!

Rollin Free…. Now I can get to those tucked away backcountry fly fishing spots and be completely self sufficient. Or belly up to an amazing coastline and soak up the sand and sea.

and I can back into nearly any parking spot and check out the local breweries wherever our travels might take us. Much better than having to for go a stop because there’s nowhere to park the truck and 5th wheel.

We can pull into almost any fuel station instead of having to use the truck stops.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for a 5th wheel RV. We still use one for our full time residence. But if you ask me, I’d travel this way any day of the week, any time of the year.

Travel and exploration with someone near and dear to you adds that extra element to your adventures. It makes the memory that much sweeter as you one day reflect on the journey you’ve shared.

I decided to venture back to the roots of my photography journey, and let me tell you it has been so much fun and so inspirational.

Trucks, cars, bikes… you name it. If it has an engine and wheels it has always been a big part of my life. Even off camera. Always will be. Especially the classics!

Don’t get me wrong, new vehicles can be extremely impressive and beautiful in their own way. But I truly feel like there is an irreplaceable soul in an old car, truck, or bike. Hell we can even throw antique tractors and planes in there. I dig em!

The stories they could tell. The adventures they’ve had. And just when they thought they had been put out to pasture to be forgotten, some creative gearhead comes along and breathes new life into them and keeps the stories coming.

So hop in, and come along for the ride as I dive back into what made me pick up a camera to begin with. Stay tuned, more to come!

Ultra comfortable and super cozy! Ridiculously durable heavy weight canvas that can take a beating but yet is still soft.

As full time RVers, it’s fair to say that my wife and I have gone through our fair share of camp chairs. The Lazy Bears have outlasted anything else we’ve had.
