Believe it or not ravens are actually one of my favourite birds
They are remarkably intelligent, inquisitive and very quirky. The more time you spend with them you get to develop an appreciation for these wonderful animals.
Unlike the UK the ravens are habituated to people in the national parks so when this one walked around the boulder fields of the beach I was more than happy to capture the beautiful scene

Did you know the common dolphin is the most abundant cetacean in the world?
Despite this this was my first time seeing this species of dolphin and it is one of my most memorable and special wildlife sightings to date. The large pod followed our boat back the mainland for at least half an hour? Honestly I lose all sense of time in moments like this

Sometimes my favourite photos images aren’t these big complex things.. it’s the small details like the way the light hits the wet sand or the texture of a stone on the beach which for some reason I find absolutely beautiful. I have had many occasions where I’ve been on boats and I wished I could see dolphins following riding the bow waves… and it finally happens! And I am very lucky to have captured these images 😍 side note seeing these animals in the wild is so much better than seeing them in confined aquarium
