📸 Unlike their first restaurant, Roxy, where I used a mix of natural light and softbox lighting, I leaned into a more dramatic spotlight for their newest venture, Arcana, letting the moody ambient lights twinkle in the background.

I’m completely obsessed with this beautifully layered space, its thoughtful and complex menu, and the vision behind this local female-owned business. ✊🏼 Every detail reflects the strength and creativity of the women leading the way, and I’m grateful to play even a small role in helping tell their story.

These sessions are weekday mornings, usually within the first few weeks. We shoot weekday mornings because they are the most flexible time and if we need to adjust the date or time, it’s much easier.
You should reach out while you’re around 35 weeks pregnant to get on my calendar.

We can shoot at your home, but I have also had families use their relatives’ home, or we can talk studio options at my place in Carlsbad.
