the most beautiful december day, with the most stunning couple! it was pouring rain just moments before the pictures, but then the sun came out and we frolicked around at newfields and it was the best time ever!

I have many many more posts to share of the most beautiful weddings and amazing couples from 2023 — which I can’t wait to get around to sharing in January. I’ll be taking a break and out of office from tomorrow until January 3rd! 🤍

something so very exciting is happening today !

it is the start of working with my dream team SA, 🤍

ready for a refresh and re-brand, thinking so deeply about what I want this new brand of mine to encompass coming forth into the new year. literally on my heels so excited, eeeep!!! 💌💌💌💌

these two captivated my heart! in their inquiry, they said they were set on working together and I could not be more excited. we met at a coffee shop and chatted and instantly I knew they were the two type of people I want to work with always — creative, trusting, and so ready go ahead and be married aside from the traditional. we hopped around Indy for about 4 hours, they shared a quiet ceremony on white river and frolicked around as husband and wife in the statehouse! 🕯️

this downtown Indy elopement was everything I was envisioning and more and I’ll remember it always. 💌

I’ve been a witness to their love for years, having met both of them at church years ago. zoe has been one of the most faithful and withstanding friends in my life. awhile ago she told me, “I just want to get married so you can photograph it”.

and now, here we are. in august I was able to capture her “surprise” (she totally walked in on me mid set up! 😂) engagement, and I got to witness that special part of their day. greens are always hard for me but if you know zoe at all, it is so her. and so I decided finally into those colors and I think this whole shoot encompasses them perfectly. now I patiently await their wedding bells come june that I get to capture through my lens 💌

had so much fun with these two, both of their fun energy just shows through and I could not have been more grateful to capture their love 😌.

busy season has been gearing up, with next week being my busiest one yet. ready for all my elopements and weddings, mourning the time I got to spend with my couples but so grateful they allow me to capture this special time of their lives! 💌

been playing around with editing lately, something I want to experiment with a bit more in relation to more filmy and color based editing. all so fun and exciting. can’t wait to share all the fun happening here soon! lots of beautiful memories to be posted soon 🤍

sweet wedding in Bloomington second shooting for 🤍. I feel like in this vast, ever changing world — social media and engagement of content is so unclear sometimes. so, I would like to ask you ! yes, you, what do you prefer? let’s have a real chat. are reels or posts more engaging to you? and why. for me, I feel like I attach more to posts… maybe it’s because I like to slowly look at things… and really feel the emotion. I’ve been trying for gourd out which direction to guide my content, and it seems like I always come back to simple posts.

I just had to share some more cute snippets from this shoot. I don’t know what it is about black and white, but I used to be SO scared to post it or play around with it. But honestly, I do believe some shots look way better in it! It just gives a different feeling ✨
