Maternity shoots are quickly becoming one of my favorite types of photoshoots. When I’m shooting, all I can think about is how incredible women are, and how wild it is that our bodies are portals to the Other Side, capable of growing a whole human and bringing a new soul to Earth. I feel so honored to capture photos of such a sacred moment in time 💕

If you book me as your family photographer, expect to receive back a lot of photos capturing genuine facial expressions, moods, and candid moments. As a former teacher with my background in Montessori classrooms, following the lead of the child is of the utmost importance to me. Therefore, I never require children to stay in poses if they don’t want to, or ask them to sit still if they clearly have the wiggles. Instead, we follow the child’s lead and I photograph authentic moments, capturing of an hour in the life of your family!

Nothing is sweeter than getting to be along for a couple’s whole journey as a photographer - I’ve gotten to photograph Madison & Geoff’s proposal, engagement, wedding, maternity, and now their baby’s newborn photos. Baby Elliott is so lucky to have you two as parents. He’s already so so loved 🥰💕

When I took the first photo in this set, I felt my heart collapsing and expanding all at the same time - both in awe of the beauty of Madison in all of her glowing pregnant glory, and in awe of the way that women get to be portals to the unmanifested, stewarding a new life in from the other side. It’s such an honor to capture such special and sacred moments in the lives of the people. ✨
